My Hubby is the cutest in the world.
I just remembered this story and thought I would share. We live in a very wooded area and we are surrounded by all kinds of bugs. It is a normal thing to kill a spider or beetle each day in the house. One evening we were headed out for date night. Colt had Emma all strapped in her car seat and proudly carried her to the car. Upon arriving to the car door I spotted some bugs flying around and mentioned for him to watch out and make sure they didn't get in the car. Immediately he put up his guard and began cursing the bugs away. When he placed Emma in the car a Boxelder Bug flew in and that set him off. These bugs are not very big but they are big enough to cause a grown man into a hissy. Colt began swearing and yelling at the cursed bug to "GET AWAY FROM MY BABY!" I tried really hard not to laugh but it was so cute that he was protecting Emma from a nasty bug I couldn't contain myself. He has always hated bugs and little creepy things so I can't help but tease him. I love Colt so much, he makes me smile every day no matter what.
