It is so strange to think that this time last year I was almost 9 months pregnant. Upon looking back on 2008 I have so much to be grateful for. I'll start with My beautiful baby Emma. She was born on February 23rd weighing a healthy 8lbs 2oz and 21" long. What a blessing she is in our lives. She is so much fun and truly growing way too fast.
In May my little sister Sabrina fell in love and married Luis Valdez. We were all so happy to see her find her sweetheart. The wedding was beautiful and not only did we get a brother but also a new nephew, Thomas.
In September Colt's dreams came true as we had to buy a new vehicle. We got an awesome deal on a 2007 Chevy Silverado and he was and still is in heaven. I told him it was his graduation present.
December was our busiest month by far as I'm sure it is for lot's of people. Colt finished his classes at the U and will receive his BS in Economics in May. We found out that my fav cousin is having a baby this summer which was cause for major celebration. We got to talk to Chase in the mission field and let him talk to Emma. It was a good month.
January began with a bang as we watched our Utah football kick Alabama's trash in the Sugar Bowl. We had so much fun with our good friends and family watching football and eating junk food. It was great to see the guys giving each other chest bumps with every touchdown, literally.I am so excited for a new year to have adventures with my wonderful Husband and our beautiful daughter. I hope we can accomplish all we have set out to do both as a couple and a family. I am also grateful for friends and family who support us in all we do. I love my life.

Holy crap--you really have had a big year! Your daughter and truck are beautiful (I love trucks, so I had to throw it in). I'm so glad that graduation is in sight for Colt! Yay! Love that feeling!
It's been fun to keep up with you guys in 2008--looking forward to learning about all of your excitement in 2009.
You guys had an awesome 2008! Aren't babies the best?!? Glad the Colt got a new truck...isn't that every mans dream? The family "picture is awesome!"
