OMGoodness! This weekend we went to Bear Lake with Grump and Grandma. The lake was a beautiful teal color and the weather was nice till the rain on Memorial Day. Any who, that was not the drama of the weekend, you see my beautiful baby girl was born with a full head of curly brown hair. On Friday I was giving her a bath and noticed her hair line looked a little high. No big deal right? WRONG! Sadly I noticed the left side of her head was severely missing hair. MY BABY IS GOING BALD!! I promptly looked up losing hair on Parents.com and was slightly relieved to read that an infants hair will fall out so that their permanent hair can grow in. I would've been satisfied with this explanation had it not been for my teasing husband. All weekend I had to listen to him giggle and say 'Honey Emmas hair looks thin' He finally shut up when tears welled up in my eyes and I cried shut up. Since she was born the first thing everyone says about her is "Look at all that hair" now who knows what they'll say. It's a good thing she is cute as can be and has that killer smile I love. Phew. I hope this phase passes soon.

Way cute blog and SUPER cute baby girl! I wouldn't worry too much about the hair. It happens to most if not all and before you know it she'll have tons it of all over again! Besides, with those eyes she could be bald forever and still cute as a button!
I still think she's got a ton of cute hair. My family produces bald babies from the get-go, so consider yourself lucky to have even a little hair.
