I have been trying to pick a picture to put on an announcement to send to family. I have narrowed it down to these three:

I took my parents on Sunday to hold their granddaughter for the first time.
I love how Mini is looking at her grandma as she is talking to her.

Papa is so proud of his tiny grand baby.
He would have held her all day if he could have.

I love the serious look on Katelyn's face as Papa held her.

Katelyn is now 5 weeks old. She is a healthy 2 pounds and 1ounce. Some of the nurses that haven't taken care of her very much have a hard time remembering she is a big girl although her size suggests otherwise. She acts like a big girl and wants to be treated like one. She is getting more social and wants to be held. She is wearing clothes though they are still huge on her. She is getting close to bottle feeding and loving sucking on her binky. She loves to be swaddled up and looks the same size as a Cafe' Rio burrito. Katelyn is very particular about the way she likes things and she'll let you know if you are doing things wrong. She is making such great progress and we are so blessed. The scariest thing right now is I might have a 3 pound baby to bring home if she keeps doing so well :) I'll have to constantly remind Emma that she isn't a baby doll.
