Sunday the 27th we had a family party to celebrate Emma's 3rd Birthday.
Her grandparents and aunts and uncles came to share cake and ice cream.
She asked for a Rapunzel cake.

It was good to celebrate Emma after having such a rough couple of weeks.
Through this whole surprise delivery Emma has handled things pretty well.
Because of RSV season and her age, Emma is not allowed in the NICU.
We have showed her pictures of Katelyn and she seems satisfied with not being able to see her.
One of the night shift nurses made Emma a care kit. It had gloves and a tiny diaper and different things they use for taking care of the baby as well as a note from Katelyn.
It was so thoughtful and even though she didn't know what all those things were she loves the diaper and the tiny pacifier and uses them on her baby dolls.
Emma is such a good girl.
She constantly gives me hugs and makes sure I'm not sad.
When she sees me making milk for Katie she tells me "You're a great milker mom!"
She is good therapy for my empty arms.
Thank you Emma-bug, Mommy LOVES you!!!
Happy Third Birthday!
xoxo

She is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! What a sweet little gift :)
She's not your typical "cute" kid--she is truly a beautiful girl! You done well! I love that she has three of the same shirt. Ha ha. Great minds think alike I guess.
I almost peed my pants when I read the "Great Milker" comment. I love kids. They are so genuine.
