It's a boy!!

Since Colt and I got married we have wanted a boy. I am happy to announce that we have our adorable little boy. He is 12 weeks old and is a bouncing, biting, growling little stinker.

Meet Bear...

He is a German Shepherd and Colt is completely in love with him. He even refers to us as bears mommy and daddy. We have had him for almost 2 weeks. He is generally well mannered and the house training is coming along well. Each night we go for a walk around the neighborhood and let little kids run up and pet him. I get nervous when other dogs come near him because he is still little but I think it makes him scared. I'll work on that. He listens to me pretty well but when Colt gets home from work Bear turns into a barking, biting little brat. Emma loves him but is still a little bit afraid of him because he has scratched her and pulled her ponytails really hard because she has put her hair in his face, someday she'll learn. Overall we love him and look forward to training him so we can have company over. Here is what Emma thinks of his kennel:
