Busy Anniversary

Today is Colt and I's 3rd Anniversary. I have to admit that I slept in as much as I could for a mom with a toddler, 8:30 which was nice 'till I heard "Mommy! Shawnte!" coming from down the hall. Nice. Emma and I got up and got to work; Breakfast and baking. I started with pumpkin chocolate cookies but they were ugly and not good so I threw them out and moved on to the fun stuff.

Lollipop Ghosties: super easy, just wrap tissues or napkins around some suckers and draw faces on them.

When Emma woke up from her nap she got to eat her cupcake


Mostly she liked the frosting


I made my first meatloaf and it turned out great!



Colt and I had a nice dinner together and finished our night with a cupcake and some ice cream cuddled on the couch. I am so grateful for my hubby and I hope he knows it. Friday night he took me to Star Wars in Concert, I'll post more on that soon. Happy Anniversary Colt!! xoxo
