Milestones

Things have been busy for our little family. Emma is growing so much. She has had her first taste of baby food and she can roll from her back to her front. She endured her first X-ray and blood draw last month. Colt has had a bad case of pneumonia and Emma got a cough so we had to check her out. She is fine now but he isn't. Colt has been so stressed with work and school that it's been really tough for him to get over this cough. We have been to 3 doctors and everyone has a different theory. Even his chiropractor had a list of vitamins for him to take. Colt is just sick of it and so am I he sounds so bad and when he laughs it gets worse. Our most recent adventure was with my family. We drove with little Emma to West Yellowstone. It took 6 hours to get there but we made it okay. Emma went swimming for the first time but only lasted a few minutes because the pool was too cold. She did good all weekend. We got to sit on a huge stuffed moose and get our picture taken as well as one with the whole bunch. We went hiking to look at the hot springs and she was in my baby pouch so cute with her binky and sunhat. We saw old faithful and bought Emma a stuffed Bison. Colt and I had rough sleeping arrangements in the short trailer beds but overall we had a good time. I'm looking forward to a weekend where we don't have to be in the car the whole time.
