A Growing Vocabulary

Our little Emma has become quite the little chatterbox. Every time I ask her what she wants for breakfast or lunch her response is "yellow". She cracks me up in the mornings when she yells for Shawnte instead of mommy and occasionally she'll say dammit. (that's Colt's fault) When I get angry at her she'll put her head down and say sorry and hug me. My favorite is when she comes downstairs and says hi buddy to bear. She knows almost all her colors and we are working on ABC's and counting. Her favorite songs to sing besides anything from Little Mermaid are Twinkle Twinkle, Row Your Boat and Itsy Bitsy Spider. She is growing up too fast and it makes me miss the days when she would lay on the couch and coo at me instead of climbing all over me. I am so proud of her and sometimes it's hard for me to believe that this time last year we were living at Jim and Julie's and she was just crawling and starting to stand on her own.
