These two wonderful people pictured behind Emma and I are my Dad's Parents.
They have been married for almost 60 years.
Grandpa married my grandma when she was 16.
Together they have 6 children, 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
I have so many fond memories of summers spent at their home in Emery County riding motorcycles, camping, boating and helping at grandmas school.
We would run into their bedroom each morning to wake them up.
We went to their house for huge Thanksgiving and Christmas parties surrounded by family. Grandpa used to trap us between his legs and talk to us like Daffy Duck.
I am so grateful for both of them.
I'm not sure how much longer Grandpa will be with us but I hope he knows how much I miss the grumpy old man that would yell at us to be quiet when we'd run upstairs.
The time with him may be short but my list of remember when's is very long.
I love you Grandma and Grandpa!

Holy cow! That's a long time to be married. I'm impressed! I love grandparents and am so glad you've had a chance to have such great memories with them.
