Two Whole Years!!

Time flies when you're having fun. I can't believe that I have been Mrs. James Colt Potter for 2 years. When I think about it I waited way too long to say yes to him. Colt and I met 3 1/2 years ago at Circuit City. I was working at the front counter and He was back in the computer department. I noticed him but he was kind of shy and I am loud so I didn't think too much about it. If you ask him he was in love the moment he saw me, I needed a little help. After 3 or 4 months of denying Colt's advances, I decided he wasn't too bad of a guy and we became pretty good friends. We text each other every 3 minutes and our phone bills were huge. One night I convinced him to come over to my house and watch Moulin Rouge with me. If you don't know already it's a musical, far from macho. He sat through the whole thing and listened to me sing along (it is one of my most favorite ever) It was around 1 am when he left and i was floating on air for some reason. On my way to bed I went to say goodnight to my parents and my mom asked the one question I knew was coming: "What are you doing" I stayed up till 4 talking to my mom about the way I felt when I was around him. I finally text him goodnight, a routine we had, and told him what happened. I told him that I felt safe and beautiful and loved when I was with him. His reply changed my world because he told me I was beautiful and most of all he loved me. The next day at work when I saw him I was so giddy it was pathetic. We were engaged in 2 months and married just before our 7 month anniversary. He is so much different than I thought he was. He is silly and funny and has a great sense if humor and makes me laugh all the time. I thought he was just this big computer nerd who went to the gym. BOY WAS I WRONG! Well mostly, He is still a computer nerd but that's what pays the bills. :) What it all comes down to is I am still so in love with him and thankful for what he has given me. I have everything I want in a husband and now we have a beautiful little girl. Thank you Colt, my Eternal Companion and Best Friend. I Love You!!

I'll never forget the big teddy bear and your confusion at first. Luckily you got through that fog to realize that you were meant for each other all along. Can't believe it's been two years already. Wow time flies!
