We went up to Bear Lake for Memorial weekend. With the exception of rain most of the weekend it was really nice to get away. We spent a lot of time doing this (see below) and other various activities. Saturday Colt learned how to ride/drive the new motorcycles his dad brought while I stayed in bed. I was trying to get rid of an ugly cold I had. I let Emma play with the kids and her Gramma which they both loved.
Sunday warmed up so we went to the playground as a family and Emma loved it. We laughed on the swings and she made little "weee" noises and giggles and Daddy pushed her on the merry-go-round and she was all smiles. We spent the evening relaxing with everyone in the pool and hot tub. Emma is going to be a good swimmer, she would kick her feet and blow bubbles in the warm water and would splash everybody. I guess we'll have to start mommy and me swim class.
On our way home we had a run in with 4 cowboys and their some 4000 cattle. Seriously there we were cows and their cute little babies all over the road and it took us 45 minutes to get 4 miles. The best part was hearing Emma in the back seat so excited and mooing in the backseat. I should've taken a picture but I was busy making sure no cows ran into our truck or vice-verse. Overall We had a relaxing weekend but we were glad to come home to our own beds and our quiet little house.
