Not So Much

So turns out I am not so good at the photo a day thing. I have all these cool ideas in my head but I don't get around to taking them. I did get the instagram app for my phone and you can follow my randomness there but for now I have much too much to do.
We finally got a serious buyer and we are under contract and set to close on May 24th. We have been looking both online and went the last 3 days in person to look at houses. Here is a my advice for someone who is trying to sell. When your realtor says to de-clutter and stage your home there is a good reason for that. We went into 3 houses today that I was immediately turned off by because of the overwhelming junk cluttering everything and the nauseating smell. One home we went in was so hot and smelled of cigarette and coffee I felt like I was in a biker bar or something. Another had such nasty carpet I had a tough time not tossing my cookies. I don't consider myself someone who dislikes another based on stereotypes but we went into a house owned by an Asian family and I was so shocked at how much stuff there was in that place. There was a horrible cooking smell through the whole house and I don't think there was an inch of wall  that didn't have something hung on it. I Love my Disney movies and characters but good grief these guys even had princess stickers on the toilet lids. I couldn't wait to get out of there. We saw a couple of great houses today. Can I just say that I love the smell of new carpet. We put in offers on 3 we are just waiting till Monday to hear, in the meantime my dreams are plagued with decorating ideas and the buying competition. The scary part now is I have to get this place packed up. It's a good thing I am almost in my second trimester. This baby has made me so nauseated. I can't fit into any of my regular pants and I feel like I am constantly eating. (that would explain the 5 pounds I've gained) I don't have time to guess what we are having I just want it to be full term and fat.

Katie has hit the 14 month mark. It seems crazy she is that old. I still get funny looks from people when I tell them her age. She has mastered rolling from her tummy to her back and she reaches and grabs for everything. She is weaker on her left side but therapy is helping to strengthen those wimpy muscles. Her eyesight is nearly perfect even with the occasional turning in she does with her right eye. She has reached most of her goals we set 4 months ago which makes me so proud of her. She babbles all the time and calls everyone dada. She growls at Emma if she doesn't want to be bothered and she yells at you if you ignore her. She has decided she is big enough to eat table food but she refuses to eat baby food especially from a baby spoon. She gets so mad at me if I don't share with her. I just love her to pieces!

Miss Emma is becoming quite the sassy little thing. Her facial expressions and mannerisms crack me up. She puts up a fight when I ask her to clean her room or do anything for that matter and she is very into finding bugs and collecting them. She looks so funny out digging in the dirt with her pretty skirt and headband on.  She has finally mastered peddling her big wheel bike and is hoping for a big girl bike sometime this summer. She can't wait to go swimming with grandad and go to Bear Lake with the cousins. She cracks me up every day and I love seeing her become this little lady she is turning into.

Our family is ready for the next step. Lets get this show on the road!
