The Rundown

August already and I feel worn out. We were so busy in July so I'll just do a quick rundown of what we did.

We went to Bear Lake as we always do for the 4th. We missed seeing fireworks because of all the fires here in Utah. The water was great and we had a good weekend.

Katie loved her first time on the swings and in the pool with daddy.
I had to put her in the tub for 3 days after so she would get ready for bed.

We went to the parade float preview with my sister and her family.
There were lots of creative entries this year.

We had fun with the neighborhood on the 24th.
The girls watched the kids parade and got lots of candy.

Colt and I were lucky enough to go to Wicked the musical.
I loved every second of it I think Colt did too.

Colt's dad had a third surgery on his hip. They had to take out the artificial piece and put in a spacer to help clean out any infection. He will have a brand new hip joint put back in sometime in September. Keep your fingers crossed we are done with infections and he can get back to normal activity.

Baby #3 is growing right on track. I am 26 weeks and showing like I'm 35. This pregnancy is progressing wonderfully. It's strange to think baby3, Carly, has surpassed Katie's birth weight and has another 11 weeks till her arrival. I am so happy knowing that Heavenly Father has blessed us.

We went to Raspberry Days at Bear Lake this past week.
Colt and I went to a play at Pickleville Playhouse and laughed our guts out.
It's crazy to think next year we will have 3 kids to take up to the lake.
Good thing we have a big family that loves to help out.

Katie is getting stronger. She is still struggling with crawling or even scooting for that matter but at least she is getting more confident in standing on her feet. Her attitude is getting worse. She has begun throwing herself backwards and throwing fits if she doesn't get what she wants. It has been even worse at night. She wants me to hold her all night and screams for hours if I try to ignore her. It is getting better but the process is slow.

Our house is finally all put together and we are able to have family and friends over for movies and treats. The carpet downstairs has been repaired and it looks great. The toy room remains a big mess but I don't mind, Emma has friends and a place to use her vivid imagination. I love to hear her play with her barbies and baby dolls.

I am ready for the fall. These high temps are killing me and I have a huge urge to start decorating the house for Halloween. Crazy?
