Trick or Treat

Prepare for a picture overload. These are some that I wanted to include in my last post but was too tired to figure out how to put them in. We also have my Halloween babies, they all looked really cute, of course.

Our last picture as a family of four. (It was early and Katie was still tired)
BG took it before Colt and I left for the hospital and the power was turned off by the city so they could do maintenance or something. It was off for BG and the girls for almost 4 hours.
Good thing I have lots of big windows in my house.

Emma was a blue fairy princess and Katie wore the same costume Emma did for her first Halloween
I forgot to get a picture of Emma all alone, she just wanted to go trick or treat with daddy. I stayed home with Carly and handed out treats. Is it strange that I was annoyed that I had mostly teenagers?

Gramma Jujee came with us to walk the ward trunk or treat before daddy took Emma around the block. Katie had lots of fun eating treats and cookies and Emma loved all the attention she got from the ward members. I sat at the trunk of our car and handed out tootsie rolls. It was nice.

This is Carly's baby mummy costume. I made the onesie by gluing white muslin on it and felt eyes and bow. I made a similar one for my cousin Kristie's little Ellie. I also made the baby leg warmers. I got both ideas from Pinterest. Easy and cute if I do say so myself.

Katie seemed to grow so much while I was in the hospital. She is stronger in her legs and is all over the floor scooting and rolling to where she wants to play. Her therapist is so proud of her. She is talking all the time and has learned a few new words like sock, bear (it sounds like she says bar) and baby. She is also waving and clapping all the time. I am so proud of her progress these past few weeks.

Emma got to stay with her cousins a few nights and her Aunt Gail planned lots of Halloween activities. They went to Dead and Breakfast and a ward Halloween party. She got to pick a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch and she stayed up late giggling with her best cousin friend Jessica. I'm so glad she had fun. Gail asked Emma if she wanted to call and talk to me one night after a busy day and Emma said, "Um, no.My mommy needs her rest right now." She is so grown up.

This handsome little guy is Remy. He is the first baby for our friends Tannar and Kira. He looks like such a big boy but believe it of not he is only 9 weeks old and was born 6lbs 12oz. All the nurses asked about him and I kept telling them he was Carly's boyfriend.

I am happy to say that I have survived my first week as a mother of three.
It has been nice being home and able to snuggle Carly whenever I want.
I hope we can get through the Holidays without too much trouble.
Bring it on!
