What the Heck!!

I have had a problem ever since our little Emma was born. So I was just wondering, where in the book of etiquette does it say that it's okay to touch another persons baby without permission? I don't mean to toot Emma's horn but: TOOT TOOT She is a beautiful baby. I know this and apparently so do the strangers that touch her face. EW Gross! I was in Walmart today with my mom and sister and when we headed to the checkout there was a woman stocking the gum and candy. I pushed Emma to the line and helped unload the basket onto the belt thingy and the woman said "oh you are so cute" I smiled and turned back around to see the woman pinching Emma's face with her dirty hands and touching her arm. I politely pulled Emma towards me and put myself between her and the woman. What the Heck! How do I protect my pretty baby girl from touchy feely strangers? It really freaks me out.

Part 2: The Big Bang

I was in the basement while writing this entry. I was typing and Colt was playing xbox. Emma was playing on the floor walking around and all of a sudden I heard a huge thud and then she started crying. colt jumped up and she was holding her breath so he panicked and I took her. She screamed and I saw a big goose egg forming on her head. Colt immediately started panicking and I sent him for a cold washcloth. (sending him for things is the best thing so he doesn't over react) I took her upstairs and had Gramma JuJee get some ice and a cold washcloth and gave Colt another assignment. After about 20 minutes she calmed down but it took some infants Tylenol and her favorite book 3 or 4 times. The end result was a very traumatized daddy and this:

And This:

So much for taking her to get her Birthday pictures taken tomorrow. Poor baby

Poor girl! And the strangers touching thins annoys me and I don't even have kids, but I've been around my friends and their kids to see it, and yeah, it's weird. Even babies have personal space people.

People are SSSOOO weird. Sorry about that awful experience. And sorry about the horrible bonk too. That looks like it hurts terribly. Bad day at the office.
