Things I need to do:
1. CLEAN MY HOUSE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
Seriously. I have neglected my entire house. There is a mountain of clean laundry piled on the chair in my bedroom that has been there for at least 2 weeks. I love the smell of clean clothes bit I utterly despise folding and putting the junk away. There is so much dog hair on my floors I could weave a rug from it all, good thing I have a Dyson. :) My craft room has once again become a catch-all for all my great ideas and projects, I think the closet is going to explode. My kitchen table looks the way a cubicle would at my former job, piles and piles of paper mostly mail. There are more toys in my living room than in the nursery at church...almost. My basement aka the black hole, is full of junk. Most of it I don't want to get rid of because it's decorations, books and baby things. I need about 4 shelves for my garage. The lawn stuff and tools are taking over as well as the spilled dog food and soda storage. To make things more interesting my parents have given us some furniture which has taken up my parking spot. Don't even ask about my bathrooms, you'd faint if I told you.
2. Anyone know a good contractor?
My basement is not finished. I need a playroom. I have a great idea of how I want the basement to look but I'm afraid I need a lot of money to fund the bedroom, storage, family/play area and the bathroom. We are hopeful that finishing the basement will help the re-sale in a few years when/if we need to find another home. The part I am most excited to participate in is picking out paint and carpet and bathroom fixtures. I really need a loan :)
3. I hate my Dog...
Okay he isn't always the monster I seem to think he is. Bear is so good with Emma. He is a good boy for the most part he just has a few very bad annoying habits. He chews my sprinklers, digs holes in the backyard pulling up the sprinkler wires. He is confined to his tiny kennel until we can buy a dog-run. He needs to have training so he is a better dog but that requires time and (sigh) money.
4. No flowers this year.
Our house is on a corner lot. I think we have a good size yard. We have a lot of lawn, in fact that's all we have and what we have is not looking too pretty. We did hire a local company to come and help green it up and it is looking better so that's good. I took it upon myself to make a flower garden area. My problem is there are no flowers in it. Man those baby's are expensive. Lucky for me I had some packets of seeds collected. I threw them in my dirt bed and sprinkled some top soil on it and I'm eagerly waiting some tiny green sprouts to pop out of the boring brown muck.
Things I want to do:
Since I have so many things I want to do I figure I better just name them instead of list them in an order because then I might feel too much pressure to accomplish them when I don't have time or money. I take that back, sometime I WILL get these things done, I'm just not sure when...
Re-finish Emma's dresser
Open my sewing machine and get going
Make some glass charms
Finish painting my seasonal decorations
Paint my hallway shelf black
Lose 20 pounds (ew)
Get a facial
Go back to school
Set up a play date with Emma's friends (yikes)
Re-organize my pantry
Paint my bedroom brown & tan
Get an hour massage
Take Emma to Disney World
Go to New Zealand

I realize that some of these might have to wait til I have no kids at home but I can surely get out my new sewing machine and start a few pillow cases.
