Paladins and Warlocks

Most of those who know me will tell you how much of a musical nerd I am. I can sing most any Disney movie word for word. My Ipod is full of Broadway soundtracks which drives Colt crazy but he has been known to sing a long with me a few times. I love to turn up my nerd music really loud in the car and sing at the top of my lungs. I suppose you could say I am a bit obsessed with the whole musical genre.

This is Colt's obsession. World of Warcraft. When we were first married He asked me if I wanted to play, it only took me one time to say no way. I guess it was fun but I had no patience with other online players who kept butting in my way so I quit playing. When I was pregnant with Emma he was in a group of players called a Guild, he knew all of them and would chat with them online and have fun. When we moved to West Jordan he was in a crappy guild that would always make him sit out during team play and he hated it. I hated it because he was always in a bad mood and he didn't have fun playing. I could hear the guild leader, a really grouchy woman, talking to her teammates like they were children and being very rude and awful to them. Colt left the guild and decided not to play for a while. (he's quit playing 3 or 4 times since we've been married) In December he joined a guild called Exile. I never thought I'd actually like for him to play but I am now that he has found a guild that is fun for him. He is such a good player and has so much respect . When the guild made him an officer he really began to enjoy himself. A few weeks ago his group finally killed the Lich King. Don't ask me all the particulars, even when he explains them to me I can't retain any of the details. I do know that when they finally beat him I was upstairs in bed nice and cozy reading a book and I hear a huge cheer and I think some jumping. He was so excited that night he had a tough time falling asleep. When he finally came to bed he wanted me to say "goodnight King Slayer Hoju" I didn't until the next day.



This is his favorite character, He has 4 I think. He sits at his monster computer each night and puts on his headset and chats with his buddies making jokes I don't understand and saying things like "taunt" and "everybody on the boss" I don't know all of what he does in his fantasy world I just know that he is at home and happy. He lets Emma sit in his lap and watch Elmo videos and sings Lion King or Ariel with her at her own computer, yes her own. He is a wonderful Husband and Father and I am glad to have him in my life. Especially because he doesn't hog our TV.
