This is my Beautiful Mother Ronda. She is one of the strongest women I know.
She has been through a lot in her life. She is graceful, funny, smart though she doubts herself sometimes. She taught me the importance of being a strong woman that is not afraid of her emotions. She made me do chores when I didn't want to, take care of my younger sisters when they bugged the crap out of me, and love others no matter what they looked like or who they were. She taught me to have fun and work hard.
When I became a mother She was by my side through contractions and being prepped for surgery. She held my hand and let me cry. She took care of Emma when I was working teaching her how to be silly and play games. My mother helped me feel like I was and am a good mother. I feel confident in my skills to nurture and raise a family. Recently mom had a mean accident. She was working at the airport car rental 2 months ago and stepped onto the curb. Somehow she fell and tore her Achilles tendon needing surgery. She is now in week 6 of her 20 week recovery process. The picture below is of her Frankenstein stitched up wound from surgery. Mom has to be on crutches or use a wheelchair for 4 more weeks till her tendon gets strong enough. The toughest part according to her is being a burden on her children. She thinks that when she is old and fragile we will somehow remind her of this time and hold it against her. Silly I know.
When I was a little girl all I wanted to be was a mother. I wanted to be the kind of mom mine was telling silly stories and playing games with my kids. I want to be my daughters best friend like my mom is mine. I want my mom to know how much I love her and how I cherish everything she has taught me. I will take care of her now and when she is frail and truly needy because she is my mom and I owe it to her.
I love you mom, Happy Mothers Day!

That looks really bad. I think she needs ice cream :) You are a wonderful mom and I am sure your mom is too! Wish her the best of luck from me.
That ankle picture seriously gives me the heebie-geebies! You must have inherited some of your mother's traits because you are just as wonderful as she is! :)
