I'm sure you have seen one or two of these in your blog cruising right?
While trying to figure out what to make for my favorite nurses I found THIS tutorial linked from Dollar Store Crafts. I thought it would be perfect so I headed to Joann Fabrics to get my supplies. I found some of the cutest negative frames in the dollar bin. I decided to put my own spin on the home made magnet.
So here is my first tutorial.
READY??
Here's what you need:
scrapbook paper or small family pictures
old magnets you don't mind cutting up
a hot glue gun, or school glue
scissors, pencil
your cute frames
First I found the cute pattern I wanted centered in the frame and I cut it out, easy.
I then glued my paper in the little frame
Next I cut an old magnet that I found in a junk drawer.
(don't laugh, you know you have one too)
Glue your magnet to the back of your little frame and you're all done.
Tonight not only did I make these:
I also made these:
Here is the fun part for you!
I would like one lucky follower to have these cute little magnets.
All you have to do is click the follow button on the left side of this post.
As soon as I get 25 followers I will choose a lucky lady. (Or lad)
If you want to make some of your own you totally should.
Imagine how cute it would be to put a picture of your kids in a frame.
You could give it to their grandpa or dad for fathers day!
I would love to hear if you made any.
Leave a comment letting me know you are a follower so I can choose you!
