Almost There

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Katelyn is doing so well I can't believe it. She is over 1000 grams which is 2 pounds 4ounces and she has grown a whole inch. Thursday night they tried to see if she could hold her temperature in an open crib. She started out okay but after about an hour they had to put her back in her isolette because even with blankets and the room temp up she was getting too cold. Poor little chicky doesn't have any meat on her bones. She is really loving her binky especially when you put formula on her tongue and give it to her. They will try to bottle feed her this weekend.

It's so funny to say that her tiny preemie clothes almost fit her. They are still too wide because she is so skinny but the length is good. I was holding her yesterday and I had to lift her to put a new blanket on her and I could lift her with one hand. I am so eager for her to get chubby.

Last night we went to dinner with Colt's family. It was nice to be together but I missed Katelyn. Our family just won't be whole until she is home with us.
